AGM session details
The AGM is a one-hour session taking place within the BSI Standards Conference, which runs from 9:30AM to 5:30PM on the same day.
Attendance is free, and you are welcome to join the AGM, or the Conference, or both. Lunch will be provided for all attendees.
Subscribing Members or their representatives will also be asked to vote on a number of formal AGM resolutions, in accordance with BSI’s Bye-laws, and will be able to either vote in person at the meeting or submit a form of proxy in advance.
Further details will be provided in the formal notice of meeting, which will be posted to Subscribing Members and made available on the website in April.
What to expect and why attend the AGM
The AGM will feature presentations from our Chief Executive, Susan Taylor Martin, and Director-General Standards, Scott Steedman, covering BSI’s strategy and performance, current priorities, and emerging trends in standards. Our Chairman, John Hirst, will guide through other items of business, including the question and answer session. If you’re a Subscribing Member or representative, you can vote in person at the meeting or by submitting a form of proxy prior to the meeting. Further details on proxy voting will be provided in the notice of meeting.
You’ll also be able to network with other members over lunch and hear from speakers in the various Conference sessions taking place throughout the day.

Who can attend? Who can vote?
The AGM and Conference are open to all individuals with an interest in the standards community. However, voting during the AGM is reserved for Subscribing Members.

BSI Impact Awards
We will also be holding the annual Standards Awards Ceremony, in which standards-makers and BSI customers will be recognized for their unwavering commitment to the production and implementation of standards.
