The BSI Impact Awards are more than recognition
They are a platform to showcase how standards makers and standards users are driving impact for a fair society and a sustainable world by developing or adopting standards.
By celebrating those who make and use standards, we highlight their contributions to protecting the planet, improving society, enabling health, safety and wellbeing, progressing industries, delivering quality, driving performance, and so much more.
Standards Makers Awards
Standards makers are the unsung heroes; they shape the guidelines that make life safer, better, and more sustainable for all UK stakeholders – government, industry, consumers, and so many more. Those who represent the UK on international and European committees represent the nation, ensuring the UK's needs are heard and reflected globally and in Europe. Standards makers’ impact is real, and the BSI Impact Awards recognize those making an outstanding contribution.
Standards makers' nominations should clearly show how the individual nominee has made an outstanding contribution to ensuring the standard delivered meaningful impact.
Please note that only current standards-makers (including nominating organizations) and BSI colleagues may make a nomination for a Standards Makers Award. Standards makers may not nominate themselves for an award.
Standards Users Awards
Through the adoption and implementation of standards, standards users are enabling outcomes that drive impact for a fair society and a sustainable world. Standards users make a real difference using standards, and the BSI Impact Awards recognize those delivering the most meaningful impacts.
Standards users' nominations should clearly show how adopting a standard(s) created a measurable change in their organization
Standards Users Awards nominations are open to all businesses/organizations in the UK, regardless of size, type, sector, etc. or relationship to BSI. Organizations can nominate themselves for the BSI Standards Users Awards, or they can be nominated by a third party.
