About ISO 14060: Net Zero Aligned Organizations
ISO 14060 will be the world's first internationally agreed and independently verifiable standard on net zero transition planning for organizations of all sizes and sectors.
Due to be published in 2027, the standard will:
- Establish a globally consistent framework for organizational net zero transition planning and implementation
- Define credible, science-based pathways to achieving net zero
- Prioritize emissions reductions across Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions
- Promote transparency, accountability and comparability of climate action
- Support organizations in building trust with investors, customers, regulators and other stakeholders
