The Nature Investment Standards (NIS), supported by Defra, devolved administrations, and developed by BSI with industry, will play a key role in boosting private sector investment into protecting and restoring nature across the UK. They are intended to provide clear, consistent, consensus-based criteria for establishing high integrity nature markets.
This webinar marks a key milestone with the release of the overarching principles standard, which applies core requirements to nature projects which generate income. This standard was revised based on feedback from public consultation and is released for market adoption.
Watch on-demand to learn how to apply the principles, hear about the new nature-based carbon standard which is available for public consultation until April 25, and explore our interactive Navigation Tool via the hub to support implementation of the standards.
