Who can apply?

The IEC Young Professionals Programme is designed for:

  • Early career professionals, particularly engineers in any industry or business relevant to the IEC
  • You must be between 20 to 35 years old
  • You must live and work in the United Kingdom

*Note: Employees of BSI, BEAMA, GAMBICA, and standards committee members with over 12 months' service are not eligible to apply.

What happens next?

Once applications are submitted, our panel will review all entries and shortlist candidates who best demonstrate:

  • A passion for electrotechnology and its impact on global industries.
  • A keen interest in international standardization and conformity assessment.
  • Leadership potential and a collaborative mindset.
  • A drive to influence and contribute to the future of standards.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview before final selections are made.
