For too long, personal protective equipment in construction has been designed around a “default” worker, leaving many women working in kit that doesn’t fit, doesn’t protect properly and doesn’t belong to them
The launch of BS 30417 Provision of Inclusive PPE – Guide marks a major turning point for the industry. For the first time, inclusive PPE is clearly defined, evidence‑based and actionable, giving organizations a framework to close long‑standing safety, comfort and inclusion gaps.
