About the event
This year’s Standards Conference will be the featured public event of the ISO Consumer Policy Committee (ISO COPOLCO) global plenary, hosted by BSI.
We invite you to spend a day exploring the importance of protecting consumers in the age of AI and the role of standards in a fair society.
What to expect:
- Insightful keynote address and interactive discussion session featuring influential voices from the worlds of standards, consumer protection and AI.
- Engage with prominent organizations in the AI advocacy and consumer protection fields in our ‘Knowledge Marketplace’ exhibition.
- Opportunity to network with a wide range of experts and stakeholders in the consumer, AI and standardization spaces.
The Standards Conference will include The BSI Annual General Meeting (AGM).
Everyone is welcome to attend the AGM. This is an opportunity hear from our CEO Susan Taylor Martin and our Director-General Standards Scott Steedman about BSI’s activities and achievements.
Only BSI Members with an active subscription and voting rights can vote. If your organization has a subscription but you're unsure who holds voting rights or need to assign them, please contact us at cservices@bsigroup.com.
Who should attend?
The conference is free to attend and we strongly encourage anyone with an interest and / or involvement in consumer protection, AI development / advocacy or standardization to attend, network and make your voice heard.

Can I register for a colleague / on behalf of someone else?
Yes, but you must include their name(s) and e-mail addresses on the registration form. Multiple bookings with the same name and e-mail address will be seen as duplicates and deleted to allow space for others to book .
