Anthony Burd
Associate Director and Head of Built Environment, BSI
Ant heads up the Built Environment Sector team at the National Standards Body. In addition to providing subject matter expertise and thought leadership he also oversees the identification of new areas of research, standardization and supporting product needs, via engagement with key stakeholders from across government and the wider sector. He also oversees the promotion of the standards portfolio to national and international marketplaces.
Peter Caplehorn
Chief Executive, RIBA
Peter Caplehorn is the Chief Executive of the Construction Products Association since 2019 following five years as Deputy Chief Executive and Policy Director. His work focuses on engaging with policy makers and industry leaders to raise the profile of the products sector and members’ businesses, grow the market and reduce regulatory risk.
Dr Hywel Davies
Chief Technical Officer, CISBE
In recent years his work has had a particular focus on Building Regulations and building safety reform and adoption of digital information management, including the development of British, European and International standards.
Hanna Clarke
Policy Manager, CPA
Her background is in Facilities Management where she gained specialisation in planned preventative maintenance data architecture for Computer Assisted Facilities Management (CAFM) systems, ergonomic logistics and innovation.
Mussa Awaleh
Health & Safety Executive, DLUHC
Mussa has over 15 years’ experience in working with standards in the construction sector, working with industry in the development of construction product standards and the Construction Industry Council (CIC) and the ConstructionSkills Sector Skills Council to develop occupational standards for a range of professions and trades in the built environment sector.
