This webinar will help you ensure your Facial Recognition Technology operates ethically and legally.

FRT is now widely used, and is often critical to safety and security. At the same time it has the potential to do harm, inflicting negative impacts on privacy, dignity and human rights.

To help you deploy the technology responsibly, a new national standard – BS 9347:2024 – establishes six principles of ethical use. It covers all the angles from governance and accountability, to transparency, data privacy, and avoiding bias.

On 29 November, we're running a webinar to introduce BS 9347 to FRT users and suppliers.

The webinar will cover:

  • the ethical use and deployment of FRT;
  • the purpose, structure and scope of BS 9347;
  • how FRT fits with AI strategy, including the risks and opportunities; and
  • how BS 9347 assists organizations of all kinds with their ethical and legal obligations.
