What is this webinar about?
The built environment has a huge role to play in reducing harmful environmental impacts and generating nature positive outcomes.
With that in mind, in a world first, England has adopted mandatory requirements for Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG).
In parallel, BSI's been working with the industry to create supporting standards, but there's still a long way to go to protect the natural environment and respond as needed.
This BNG-focused webinar is part of BSI's Net Zero Week 2024 and will cover:
- an outline of the legal requirements;
- the impact on the built environment industry;
- an update on BSI's work in this area; and
- how the UK is influencing international standards and how industry is responding.
