People have the right to expect that buildings and their immediate environment are designed, built and maintained safely, which is what the new BS 8670-1:2024 is all about.

On 27 February we’re launching the standard. Join us to learn how and why it sets core competence criteria for the people who provide services and products throughout the life of a building.

This webinar will cover:

  • the competence standards work programme and where we are today,
  • competence activity in the wider built environment sector,
  • the development and publication of BS 8670-1, and
  • the development of new competence standards for fire risk assessment and construction products
