Speakers

Dan Rossiter
Chartered Architectural Technologist Dan Rossiter FCIAT is an active built environment sector supporter, both nationally and internationally. Nationally, Dan provides digital transformation thought leadership at the British Standards Institution (BSI) where he also provides subject matter expertise to several national committees relating to digital, information management, and modern methods of construction.  
 
Outside of BSI Dan is Vice-President Technical for CIAT, contributes to several sector working groups, and is an ambassador for nima. Internationally, Dan convenes CEN and ISO terminology as well as strategy working groups relating to the digital transformation of the built environment.
Dr Anne Kemp OBE
Dr Anne Kemp OBE has 35 years of experience as Fellow and Technical Director for Digital Engineering and BIM Strategy and Development at AtkinsRéalis. 

She is chair of nima, and convenor of the International Standards Organisation committee for the 19650 series, focused on managing information for the whole life cycle of the built environment, which drives the UK BIM Framework, the basis of the IM Mandate. 

Anne is Co-Lead for the Digital workstream of the Construction Leadership Council, and was chair of the Association of Geographic Information from 2014 to 2016. Awarded the ICE’s President’s Medal 2017, and Geospatial Professional of the Year 2019, she received an OBE for “Digital Construction Innovation” in the Queen’s birthday Honours 2019.

David Churcher

David Churcher graduated in 1989 with 1st class honours in civil engineering from City University, London, and was awarded his MBA from Open University in 2005. During his career he has worked for construction and project management companies, for industry-sponsored research companies and through his own consultancy business. 

David established his own consultancy, Hitherwood Consulting, in 2007. In 2010 he was asked to contribute to the work of the UK BIM Strategy Group. When work on the ISO 19650 standards started in 2014, David joined the ISO working group as a UK expert. David became the technical author for ISO 19650-1:2018 (concepts and principles), contributed to ISO 19650-2:2018 (project information) and was the author of ISO 19650-3:2020 (operational information). He was also involved in the development of ISO 19650-4:2022 (information exchange) and ISO 19650-6:2025 (health and safety information). He is now Project Leader for the revisions of ISO 19650-1 and ISO 19650-3, expected to be published in late 2026.

David has been involved in many initiatives to help industry implement the ISO 19650 standards. He is one of the co-editors of the UK industry guidance, published as part of the IMI Framework and is an Ambassador of nima. He has been involved in European standards projects to prepare Europe-wide guidance on ISO 19650. He is an independent technical expert working with UKAS to support accredited certification to ISO 19650-2.

David was awarded MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List in 2021 for services to the construction industry.

Paul Shillcock
Paul draws on many years of hands-on experience to help governments, organisations, and major projects worldwide to align their business processes with the latest industry standards and best practices. He has established himself as a leading authority on the effective management of information throughout the asset life cycle.

Through Operam Academy, Paul develops engaging learning resources designed to help teams build the capability and capacity required to manage information effectively - supporting his mission to make information management simple and accessible.

Paul also plays a prominent role in various government and industry-led initiatives, both in the UK and internationally, as well as in the development of national and international standards. He is one of the authors behind the internationally agreed standards for information management, ISO 19650.
