Speakers

Ece Ozdemiroglu
CEO, eftec
Environmental economist, convenor of the ISO/TC 207/SC 1/Working Group 14 which prepared ISO 14054. Ece specialises in methods that estimate the economic value of nature, and how to use this evidence in appraisal, accounting, and preparing investment cases, and impact and TNFD reporting. She supports forward-thinking investors, businesses, NGOs, and public policy makers who consider their impacts and dependencies on natural capital.
Mark Gough
Founder and CEO, Capitals Coalition
As a collaborative leader, he brings extensive private sector experience, and as a dynamic public speaker and negotiator, he unites diverse views and perspectives around a shared vision. Mark led the development of the Natural Capital Protocol and served on the board of the Social and Human Capital Coalition. Among other board and advisory roles, he is Co-Chair of the Impact Management Platform, sits on the Steering Committee for the Global Commons Alliance and the Nature Positive Initiative, and was one of the founders of Business for Nature.
Dr Stephanie Hime
FISEP, CEO Little Blue Research
Stephanie is the ISO TC 207 SC 1 Working Group 14 Project Leader for the development of ISO 14054:2025, and the CEO of Little Blue Research overseeing the development and implementation of projects. She has over 15 years of experience in sustainability consulting and research with an emphasis on environmental and social impact analysis. Stephanie has enjoyed a varied career which includes helping to develop the Capitals Coalition’s Natural Capital Protocol and Sector Guides. She has worked on the development of several natural capital accounts and the implementation of the recommendations of the Taskforce for Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) across sectors. She is a fellow of the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP) and part of its Biodiversity and Natural Capital Steering Group.
Martin Baxter
Deputy Chief Executive at the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals
Martin is Deputy CEO at the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP) and a member of the ISEP Board. He works in the UK and internationally to accelerate the transition to a sustainable future. Martin has experience in developing global and European standards and chairs the ISO environmental management systems committee of ~100 countries. He is a non-exec director of the Society for the Environment (SocEnv) and the Broadway Initiative, a visiting professor on sustainability at Cranfield University, and was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Derby in recognition of his contribution to environmental sustainability.
Ian Dickie
Member of UKNEE, Technical Author of BSI FLEX 701 and Director of eftec
Member of UKNEE, Technical Author of BSI FLEX 701 (Nature Markets – Overarching Principles and Framework) and Director of eftec. Ian is an author of Natural Capital Protocol, he has worked on over 100 national accounts at national, regional and organisational level in the UK and the rest of the world. From January he will be a Member of the UK Climate Change Committee (Adaptation).
